We are seeking a qualified: Compensation Manager

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this hands-on role will provide expertise, analysis and leadership for all aspects of Maquet Cardiovascular’s total compensation program. Assists in developing long term strategies to ensure the company is competitive in compensation strategy and is able to attract, reward and retain talent. Ensures compensation administration is in compliance with internal policies, external regulations and is cost effective to administer. Ensures appropriate systems are in place to provide accurate and excellent customer service to internal customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the design development and administration of compensation processes and systems
• Conduct job evaluations and analysis for existing and proposed new jobs as requested to resolve compensation and classification issues
• Research comparable market pay rates to assess relationship to Company compensation plan
• Prepare and present classification, salary, grade and range change recommendations
Conduct market salary surveys; collect and analyze market data and maintain salary survey data library
• Develop/present recommendations for annual structure and budget adjustments to maintain internal and external equity in pay plans
• Develop and administer Long Term Incentive compensation programs; develop communication materials to assure clear understanding of the program
• Create policies, procedures and financial controls to ensure annual spending is within the stated budget
• Directs the development of training and communications programs to ensure the management team understands MCV’s pay philosophy and salary administration program and employees understand how they are paid
• Research, recommend, and implement a total compensation tool system
• Monitor executive and other compensation trends
• Develop a deferred compensation program and implement a non-exempt incentive program

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
• At least 5 years compensation experience and 8- 10 years total HR experience, in high growth corporate environment
• Strong understanding of appropriate compensation and benefit laws
• Must have experience developing compensation plans, market pricing, and ranges
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and present findings in a meaningful way, delivering communications and presentations to the Executive Committee
• Professional certification in compensation (CCP)is a plus

This role will begin in a consultative capacity with the potential to become a permanent role.
