SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Provide advice and counsel to Integra Managers and HR Generalists on matters involving compensation processes, programs, and procedures. Develop, update and maintain process technology and systems to perform compensation planning and administration. Coordinates participation in and delivery of compensation survey data to ensure the organization’s desired position in the market and overall compensation objectives are achieved, including its ability to attract and retain talent. Manage HR integration activities related to any mergers or acquisitions, and with global expansion. Performs a wide variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
*Develop, implement and communicate policies, standards and procedures required to ensure consistent and equitable application of compensation plans throughout the organization.
*Provides training and guidance to HR Generalists to enable them to prepare job descriptions and determine FLSA job classification for all jobs, and perform job analysis and job evaluation by applying a standard methodology, thus enabling them to partner with client managers.
*Reviews recommendations submitted by HR Generalists and Hiring Managers on base salary, bonus targets, geographic differentials, to ensure the competitiveness of total compensation for newly budgeted headcount and job requisitions for various division / department positions.
*Facilitates annual corporate e-compensation processes, to include salary planning/merit review, and cash and equity annual incentive awards.
*Evaluate and design variable pay and long term incentive programs for all levels of the company, including the sales force. Work with financial planning group in modeling and cost scenarios. Maintains inventory of incentive plans and program designs.
*Oversee management of company’s participation on compensation surveys. Identify compensation trends in the medical device labor markets and general industry to ensure the company’s competitive position and ability to attract and retain employees in key positions.
*Manage the maintenance of the HRIS, track HR metrics, maintain employee information, and meet management reporting needs
*Provides recommendations relative to vendor/product selections for surveys, technology tools, and services to build a technical infrastructure to optimize the management of compensation data and programs
*Ensure compensation programs comply with laws and regulations, keeps HR staff and managers well informed, and lead effort in ensuring compensation programs are Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
*Develop communications and promotes the value of the company’s compensation programs and total rewards policies to ensure employee understanding of its value.
*Participate in due diligence process for *Mergers & Acquisitions. Provide HR operations leadership in order to speed the integration of acquired employees. Develop transition procedures, data templates and standard communication vehicles around the acquisition / mergers and the subsequent integration process
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
**Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or related field
Subject matter expert for compensation planning systems and modeling tools utilizing Oracle, survey and pay planning tools, Microsoft Excel and Access.
**5-10 years compensation experience, including 2 years of compensation design and operations experience.
**Ability to develop and implement large scale compensation tool solutions
**Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced.
**Demonstrated experience and success in a HR role with a solid understanding of U.S. federal and state employment regulations (e.g., FLSA, Sarbanes Oxley, local and state wage laws)
**Knowledge of classification principles and job evaluation methodology sufficient to apply appropriate techniques to classify positions
**Solid working knowledge of statistical concepts & methods, with strong analytical skills.
**Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.
**Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
