Compensation Specialist
Bridgewater, NJ

  • Participates in surveys and analyzes internal data against market for base salary, incentives and total cash, making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Analyzes internal salary and band comparisons to facilitate internal equity and compliance with EEO and OFCCP requirements as well as for pay compliance in Canada. Recommends actions to be taken.
  • Develops pay structures.
  • Evaluates jobs as a member of the region Hay Evaluation Panel, documenting rationale, owning the compensation end of the current role profile documentation and evaluation tool.
  • Supports development of short term incentive plans, administering on an annual basis.
  • Investigates and recommends actions with respect to application of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Supports the salary and bonus planning compensation process via system requirements. Audits as appropriate. Prepares analysis of exceptions for review by ELT and President.
  • Assists in the development, writing and revision of Compensation policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Prepares reports on compensation related issues.
  • Manages compensation projects.
  • Researches Leading/Best Practices in area of Compensation and makes recommendations.
  • Develops and delivers Compensation training programs and may present to senior managers.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other discipline
  • 5 years compensation experience
  • Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical capabilities
  • Strong PC skills especially Excel; PowerPoint, Word; Tableau or similar analytical tool capability preferred
  • Demonstrated project management capability, capability to develop and maintain good internal relationships with line managers and HR Partners.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Capability to travel as required.
