Position Summary:
The Director, Compensation role will report to the Corporate Vice President, Total Rewards and will provide leadership, expertise, and strategic direction to drive best in class compensation programs for B. Braun Medical (US, Canada, Dominican Republic). This role will be responsible for evaluating and reshaping compensation including the implementation of a new compensation system.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops competitive base and variable pay structures and policies
- Manages the equity program; ensures alignment to our global job architecture, competitive benchmarking methodology, overall compensation strategy
- Manages short-term and long-term incentive programs. Ensures effective design and planning to support business objectives and talent strategies
- Evaluates the effectiveness of compensation strategy and programs through data-based insights. Develops metrics/measurements in partnership with our talent analytics team; regularly analyzes trends to inform effectiveness, identify opportunities, and guide decision-making
- Oversees the annual compensation planning program and related work streams including the design, resource allocation, project management, and communication planning. Collaborates with cross-functional areas such as HRBPs, HRIS, Talent Management, and Corporate Communications
- Drives continuous process improvement and operational excellence, with an innovative mindset, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation program delivery.
- Lead efforts to develop governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment to our compensation strategy, framework, and related policies and guidelines.
- Develop proactive measures and processes to ensure pay equity
- Manages compensation team, responsible for providing training, coaching, and guidance; encourages and supports individual talent development
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation policies, procedures and program administration globally
- Manages relocation and immigration programs
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant compensation experience; including experience in a Senior Compensation role
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
- Occasional business travel required.
- Previous people management experience required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
