Program Summary

During our March program we will explore how a deferred compensation plan (DCP) can be designed as a tool to overcome the challenges posed by the “Great Resignation”, including:
• Design features that help retain key employees from other recruiters
• Design features that help recruit key talent away from competitors
• Design features that deal with lost/unvested benefits of key employees
• Design features that allowing new recruits to income tax adjust against “separation from service” or “severance” payments
• Design features that provide value beyond dealing with the “Great Resignation”
• Design features that permit selection of specific employees for DCP inclusion
• Communicating the value of the DCP to employees and targeted recruits
• How a properly designed DCP reinforces egalitarian benefit culture
